Jaja Bolivar makes ADOBO NATION sizzle with her energetic and entertaining, often hilarious antics and off-the-cuff comments on anything and everything – from the relevant to the irreverent.
Once in front of the cameras, Jaja is in her element, projecting pizzazz and making her subject, or the show’s guests, feel right away at ease. Her entertainment experience in the Philippines and in the US is as vast as her talents. Jaja has done hosting stints for various events and celebrations; has modeled for and acted in several print and TV commercials, stage plays, corporate shows and live events, one movie and an independent film.
Jaja was a regular headline/field and comic reporter for “Wazzup! Wazzup!” – a news-gag comedy on ASB-CBN’s Studio 23. She has interviewed an interesting line-up of controversial politicians, newsmakers and celebrities, including former Philippine presidents Joseph “Erap” Estrada and Fidel Ramos and champion boxer Manny Pacquiao.
She also co-hosted “Y Speak” – a youth oriented debate show on Studio 23, where she provided edgy and comedic, yet insightful views for the show.
Jaja’s versatility shines as she tackles different topics with ADOBO NATION co-hosts Karmina Constantino and JC Gonzalez, dishing comments on the week’s headline makers on A-List; going on-field to discover the latest vacation hotspot or the newest dining destination or trying out the latest exercise or dance craze.
Jaja is a multi-faceted performer on and off-camera.
She got her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communications at the University of the Philippines.
